Outpatient Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location

Pacific Campus, less than 1 mile from Colby Campus

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours (08:00 - 17:00)

Job Description

The Outpatient Pediatric SLP will work at the Pacific Campus, focusing on pediatric patients in a comprehensive maternity services and Level II NICU environment. This role requires expertise in alternative communication devices, assessments, developmental delays, and language disorders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and create treatment plans for pediatric patients
• Implement therapy interventions tailored to individual patient needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including social services
• Educate patients and families on treatment processes and expectations

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• BLS certification is required
• Experience in pediatric outpatient settings preferred
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system is preferred
• Knowledge of autism, oral motor skills, and language disorders is beneficial
