Ultrasound Technologist, Mother/Baby Couplet Care Philadelphia, PA

The Ultrasound Technologist supports a high-risk obstetrics ultrasound program by performing and/or assisting with ultrasound procedures according to protocols established by radiology. The role includes preparing and maintaining ultrasound equipment, ensuring appropriate patient preparation, and operating ultrasound equipment to support timely diagnosis and monitoring. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, Monday through Friday; minimum 40.0 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent; graduate of a 2-year AMA-approved Ultrasound program (non-degree program); Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS-OB) and RDMS-OB certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of ultrasound experience, including experience with high-risk OB, Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM), or experience with level 2 detailed anatomy ultrasounds
• Additional Information: Outpatient hospital clinic setting. Shift hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. No call, no float to other units, no weekends, and no holiday requirements. Case volume is approximately 812 daily.
