Job Overview Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Unit II – Per Diem Day Shift at Monmouth Medical Center. Pay Range: $48.29 – $65.06 per hour. Shift: Day Status: Per Diem Location: 300 Second Avenue, Long Branch, NJ 07740. Essential Functions Assure safety in practice and incorporate evidence‑based practice principles. Report identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors. Maintain knowledge of the patient population served. Supervise and direct delegation of tasks to appropriate team members while collaborating with other patient care providers. Consistently set and evaluate priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement. Utilize the nursing process to integrate all aspects of care and individualize care plans for specific patient needs. Qualifications Required ASN or Nursing Diploma One to two years of experience within specialty Strong communication and organizational skills Proficient computer skills Preferred BA/BS/BSN Degree Completion of clinical experience in an NLN accredited school Screening Certification eligibility National Certification Certifications and Licenses Required BLS and ACLS certification Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License Valid N.J.
