AmpSeq programme Director- FTC

LGC Group seeks a Programme Director to lead the AmpSeq platform's global expansion from a strategic priority into a commercially viable, operationally sustainable service. The role encompasses cross-functional programme management across customer intake, manufacturing, quality, bioinformatics, and supply chain to drive revenue growth and operational scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead AmpSeq programme delivery across customer intake, design, manufacturing, quality, and commercial readiness
• Oversee governance, risk management, prioritisation, and KPI tracking across Middleton, Berlin, and other sites
• Direct cross-functional change initiatives spanning NGS workflows, panel design, manufacturing scale-up, and customer onboarding
• Partner with Operations, Commercial, Product Development, and senior leadership to align priorities and unblock delivery
• Establish and manage KPIs for revenue, conversion, turnaround time, manufacturing readiness, and quality metrics

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent experience in life sciences, molecular biology, genomics, biotechnology, or operations
• Significant experience leading complex cross-functional programmes in life sciences or laboratory services
• Demonstrated ability to manage strategic programmes with multiple workstreams, dependencies, and governance
• Strong understanding of operational scale-up, customer onboarding, supply chain, and quality management
• Proficiency with dashboards, action logs, risk registers, and KPI reporting tools
• Strong communication skills for executive, commercial, technical, and operational audiences
• Experience with NGS platforms, global site management, or formal programme management certification (desired)
