Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) – Locum

???? $49.00/hour (Service Contract Act Wage Determination)
???? Full-Time Equivalent (2,080 hours/year) | Locum Tenens
???? U.S. Citizen or Green Card Required
The VA Portland Health Care System (VISN 20 Northwest Health Network) is seeking one (1) full-time Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) to provide diagnostic imaging services on a locum tenens basis.
Contract Details
Shifts may include:
8-hour shifts (5 days/week)
9-hour rotating shifts
10-hour shifts (4 days/week)
Rotating weekends and holidays
Overtime / On-Call / Call Back when required
The X-Ray Technologist will:
Perform routine and specialized diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures
Ensure proper patient positioning and radiation safety protocols
Operate and maintain radiographic equipment
Evaluate image quality for diagnostic accuracy
Current ARRT certification (Radiography – R)
Active state licensure (as required by Oregon)
Experience in hospital or acute care setting preferred
Ability to work independently and adapt to rotating shifts
Must meet VA credentialing and privileging requirements
Prolonged standing and walking
Lifting up to 50–100 pounds occasionally
Carrying equipment (15–44 pounds)
