Registered Nurse (RN) Intensive Care Unit (ICU) PRN

Registered Nurse (RN) Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – PRN Job Type: PRN | Schedule: 12‑hour shifts (Days 7am–7pm or Nights 7pm–7am). Must be available for a minimum of4 shifts per month, including at least 2 weekend shifts, and for 1 major and 1 minor holiday each year. Overview Join a small ICU unit consisting of 16 beds (CVICU, MICU, Surgical, Neuro, Trauma, open‑heart program, and STEMI receiving center) within Havasu Regional Medical Center, a 171‑bed community hospital in Arizona. Responsibilities Manage care of ICU‑level patients, including critical care medications, ventilator management, invasive monitoring, bedside procedures, rapid response and code team participation, trauma RED response, and all other critical care needs. Collaborate professionally with respiratory therapy, cardiac cath lab, operating room, emergency department, and therapy services (PT, OT, ST). Evaluate patients’ and families’ learning needs and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients. Qualifications Current Arizona or Compact State RN license. Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Trauma Nursing Certified (TNCC) required within 6months of hire.
