Resource Specialist

Immediate need for a talented Resource Specialist. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Lauderhill, FL(Onsite). Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key Responsibilities:Assess member needs and contribute to care/service plans in collaboration with the care team.Connect members to local resources for services including employment, housing, and foster care.Act as a resource for members seeking local services, determining eligibility based on assessments.Monitor the delivery of care/services and follow up to ensure timely access to appropriate resources.Collaborate with providers, community organizations, and governmental entities to support families.Assist in developing educational programs for staff to improve resource identification.Ensure all resource service information is documented and up to date.Conduct outreach to locate hard-to-reach individuals and families in the community.Perform other duties as assigned to meet member and business needs.Key Requirements and Technology Experience: A Bachelor's degree and 2–4 years of related experience in child welfare and pediatric case management.Hands-on experience connecting children and families to local community resources.Knowledge of foster care, adoption, and health plan services is preferred.Our client is a leading Healthcare Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
