Job Summary The Senior HR Generalist is a key partner in creating a positive, high trust, and people focused workplace. This role leads employee relations efforts, manages HRIS administration, supports employees and managers with day‑to‑day HR needs, and plays an active role in strengthening company culture. The ideal candidate brings strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and a passion for building an exceptional employee experience. Duties/Responsibilities Employee Relations Serve as the primary resource for employee relations concerns, ensuring fair, consistent, and timely resolution. Conduct thorough investigations and provide clear documentation and recommendations. Coach managers on performance management, communication, and conflict resolution. Identify trends and partner with leadership to proactively improve engagement and workplace climate. HRIS Administration Oversee daily HRIS operations, ensuring accurate employee data, reporting, and system integrity. Generate and analyze HR metrics to support strategic decision making. Support system enhancements, troubleshooting, and workflow improvements. HR Operations & Daily Support Respond to employee and manager HR questions with clarity, professionalism, and empathy. Support onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and policy interpretation. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Assist with annual HR programs, including performance reviews, compensation processes, and benefits enrollment. Culture & Engagement Champion a positive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture. Support engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and internal communication efforts. Partner with leaders to reinforce company values and strengthen team connection. Contribute to training and development efforts that promote growth and well‑being. Required Skills/Abilities Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust at all levels. Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to navigate sensitive situations with discretion. Highly organized, detail oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. A collaborative mindset and genuine enthusiasm for building a great workplace culture. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification preferred. 5+ years of progressive HR experience with strong emphasis on employee relations and HR operations. Experience with HRIS platforms and HR data reporting. Physical Requirements Sitting: Prolonged periods of sitting are typical, often for the majority of the workday. Keyboarding: Frequent use of a keyboard for typing and data entry. Reaching: Occasionally reaching for items such as files, documents, or office supplies. Fine Motor Skills: Precise movements of the fingers and hands for tasks like typing, using a mouse, and handling paperwork.
