Finance Manager

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Finance Manager in Beverly, MA.Summary:The Finance Manager will work alongside the Executive Director to monitor and manage the organization's fiscal health. This includes managing the accounting process, budgeting and reporting, forecasting and cash flow analysis. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and a dependable colleague who helps the team succeed through reliability, clear communication, and resourcefulness.Responsibilities Include:

• Oversee the accounting functions performed by their outside service provider, including AP, the general ledger (QuickBooks), and payroll process (ADP)
• Oversee the organization's use of Microsoft Customer Relationship Management (-CRM-) database
• Forecast cash flow and update cash liquidity report
• Review monthly profit/loss, balance sheet and related supporting documents
• Prepare the annual budget and interim forecasts with participation by department heads and the CEO. Present annual budget to the Board for approval
• Coordinate with an independent CPA for completion of the annual audit; Provide annual audited financial statements to the Board for review
• Assist in strategic planning by drafting and analyzing financial forecasts
• Be forward-looking: project the organization's financial performance into the near future, identify trends, and creatively problem-solve
• Work with PA Directors on HR administration
• Coordinate with a benefits broker to select and manage employee benefits
• Work closely with the heads of each department to track performance towards budget and inform action plans for growth and improvement
• Be part of the leadership team, making crucial decisions for the organization and supporting its strategic growth
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Experience managing full cycle accounting process
• Experience with and enjoyment of managing and working as a team is essential
• Skills and experience in financial analysis, strategic thinking, communication, and collaboration
• Substantial systems and Excel skillset

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
