Manager, Employee Relations & HR Business Partner

Client: Food Manufacturing Company Role: Manager, Employee Relations & HR Business Partner Location: Gloucester County, NJ (Onsite) Salary: $115,000-$125,000 Position Overview My client, a leading food manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Manager, Employee Relations & HR Business Partner to support a high‑volume manufacturing facility. This role will serve as the primary HR partner for assigned business units while leading employee relations initiatives, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture in a fast‑paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Lead complex employee relations matters, including workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective actions. Partner with operations leadership to develop and implement people strategies that support business objectives. Coach managers and supervisors on employee relations, performance management, documentation, and leadership best practices. Ensure consistent application of company policies, employment laws, and HR procedures. Oversee attendance management, disciplinary processes, and performance improvement initiatives. Provide guidance on performance management and employee development plans. Analyze employee relations trends and HR metrics to identify opportunities for process improvements and risk mitigation. Maintain accurate HR documentation and support compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations. Promote employee engagement and contribute to a positive, inclusive workplace culture. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labor Relations, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources or Employee Relations experience. At least 2 years of experience conducting complex employee relations investigations. Strong knowledge of employment laws, employee relations best practices, and performance management. Proven ability to influence, coach, and build strong relationships with leaders at all levels. Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and conflict‑resolution skills. Bilingual in English and Spanish required. Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment.
