As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Tue: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Wed: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Thur: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sun: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to associates, drivers, vendors, and visitors at a retail distribution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies. Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, loading docks, trailer areas, parking lots, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry, observe vehicle and pedestrian activity, and report irregular conditions according to site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities. Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
