Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for an exciting opportunity within one of the newest hospital platforms in the Mid-Atlantic region.

This assignment offers the rare opportunity to join a growing Emergency Medicine program at a newly opened full-service hospital serving Washington, DC. Advanced Practice Providers will work alongside Emergency Medicine physicians within a collaborative team-based care model while helping expand access to care across a rapidly growing urban healthcare market.

Coverage Model

• 40 Physician Coverage Hours Daily
• 20 APP Coverage Hours Daily

Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluation, treatment, and management of emergency department patients
• Assessment of acute medical and traumatic presentations
• Performance of procedures within APP scope of practice
• Collaboration with Emergency Medicine physicians, nursing teams, hospitalists, and consulting specialists
• Participation in patient flow, admissions, transfers, and disposition planning
• Documentation and order management within Cerner EMR

• Active Washington, DC License or ability to obtain
• National Certification
• ACLS Required
• PALS Required
• ATLS Preferred
