Box Truck Driver

Job Details Location: Glendale Heights, IL 60139 Position: Full Time Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00 hourly Shift: 1st Shift (Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) Hours: 40 hours per week, overtime and occasional weekend work may be required Pay Frequency: Bi-Weekly Essential Functions Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to customers or other specified destinations. Load and unload corrugated materials onto and from the box truck. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during transportation and delivery. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the box truck. Report any mechanical issues, delays, or incidents promptly. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery confirmations and any discrepancies. Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns. Communicate effectively with warehouse associates, supervisors, and other team members. Referral Program Qualifications At least 21 years of age Lift up to 25 lbs. alone and up to 50 lbs. assisted. Valid driver’s license and medical certificate Clean driving record 2-3 years of previous experience as a box truck driver Overtime hours are a requirement, as well as some weekend work. Ability to load and unload corrugated materials onto and from the box truck. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to perform routine inspections. Ability to address customer inquiries or concerns.
