Information Security Engineer - Vulnerability Mgmt

Salary: $103,000 - 143,000 per year Requirements:

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with demonstrated experience briefing senior executives and large audiences on complex, high-impact initiatives.
• Proven leadership and implementation background.
• Solid, consistent experience in vulnerability management, security engineering, or security consulting.
• Hands-on experience with proactive threat management, research, escalation, and discovery.
• Good understanding of widely used security tooling and the relationship between security architecture, processes, and tools.
• Preferred certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or AWS Solutions Architect.
• Experience in GRC or audit management is a plus.
• Scripting and automation experience, preferably with Python.
• Practical experience with platforms such as Qualys, Brinqa, Archer, ServiceNow, Checkmarx, and Prisma; AWS exposure is also highly valued.

• Support day-to-day data security operations and help ensure the availability and integrity of security and networking infrastructure components.
• Monitor compliance with our IT security policies and help coordinate the investigation and reporting of security incidents.
• Define, deliver, and support enterprise security tools and architecture in partnership with other teams.
• Strengthen our network vulnerability management program across in-scope subsidiaries and affiliates.
• Define security environments and lead the implementation and onboarding of new applications, programs, processes, projects, and initiatives into our Enterprise Vulnerability Management Program.
• Communicate, escalate, and guide remediation efforts for open vulnerabilities, including infrastructure, application security, and configuration issues.
• Research emerging threats and remediation methods, then recommend solutions and oversee implementation with IS/IT teams.
• Proactively monitor and investigate security alerts from managed security service providers and internal security tools.
• Perform risk assessments to measure control effectiveness and assess the impact of proposed business, application, and system changes.
• Support ad hoc reporting and evidence collection requests.
• Carry out threat analysis and incident response by interpreting events and indicators.
• Help develop and maintain standards, procedures, and guidelines for our Enterprise Vulnerability Management Program.
• Share knowledge and industry best practices with teammates.
• Act as a security engineer and consultant on projects.
