Senior Security Engineer

Salary: $103,000 - 143,000 per year Requirements:

• Proven experience managing data protection and security controls in Microsoft 365, especially across SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams
• Hands-on expertise with Data Classification Labels, Retention Policies, and DLP rule configuration
• Strong technical communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to gather business context and explain security solutions clearly
• Background in Microsoft 365 administration with a strong interest in security-focused work
• Familiarity with securely handling large file volumes and addressing oversharing risks
• Experience implementing or fine-tuning custom security controls within Microsoft 365 environments
• Ability to validate data use cases and partner with end users to align controls to business needs

• Build, configure, and maintain Microsoft 365 security controls, including DLP policies, Retention Labels, and Data Classification Labels
• Review and refine existing settings to strengthen enterprise data protection
• Help mitigate risk from overshared files, stale content, and inappropriate access across large Microsoft 365 environments
• Work directly with end users and business teams to collect context and guide the deployment of suitable security controls
• Own solutions end to end by recommending, implementing, and following through on actions
• Support the overall security posture of the OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams environment across the organization
