Property & Casualty Account Manager

Account Manager – Commercial Lines Location: Wilsonville, OR Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The role involves networking and connecting with potential clients, understanding their needs, and offering suitable insurance products and policies. Ideal candidates have excellent interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of Property & Casualty insurance policies, and the ability to work toward sales targets. The primary goal is to effectively sell insurance policies and ensure a positive experience for our clients, meeting the customers’ needs by placing them with the correct product and carrier. Primary Responsibilities Develop and implement effective sales strategies to sell and service property and casualty insurance policies. Network and build relationships with potential clients. Understand the individual needs of clients and recommend suitable insurance policies. Complete all necessary paperwork related to insurance policies. Stay up to date with changes in insurance products, compliance and regulations. Work toward achieving sales targets and objectives. Maintain records of insurance policies sold and prospective clients. Address and resolve clients’ complaints and queries promptly and professionally. Primary Skills & Requirements 2+ years of experience in an Account Manager or related position preferred. General Lines Property & Casualty Insurance License – Oregon preferred or willing to obtain within the first 90 days of employment. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Agency Management Software (Applied Epic, PL Rater, etc.). Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
