As an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will respond to situations with professionalism, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly while representing Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, ATM areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site policies, while maintaining accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Maintain readiness of assigned equipment and comply with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and client procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
