Principal Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist

Responsibilities Preparing and executing a mixed portfolio of subcontracts Managing performance of subcontracts, ensures compliance with all public law requirements as well as company (and business) policies and procedures including import/export regulations Identifying strategies and opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency and manage risk through strategic and targeted negotiations Understanding the buyer and seller’s roles to establish mutually successful business arrangements Specifying solicitations and bid packages Evaluating proposals and negotiating prices/terms Developing and administrating contractual documentation and post awards Leveraging your skill and talents throughout this role Creating and establishing commercial determinations for purchase awards Requirements Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of experience or a master’s degree with at least 3 years of experience in one or more of the following: Subcontracts, Contracts, Proposal Price/Cost analysis, Procurement, Program Management, Supply Chain, Project Management, Advanced Planning, and/or Strategic Sourcing Experience with SAP Experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) and DFARS Supplier selection/management experience on US Government contract(s) Experience working within a government approved purchasing system Experience with management of complex subcontracts Hard Skills subcontracts contracts proposal price analysis cost analysis procurement program management supply chain project management strategic sourcing supplier selection Soft Skills negotiation risk management strategic thinking compliance management performance management communication problem-solving organizational skills collaboration decision-making #J-18808-Ljbffr Jobtailor
