Medical Assistant

James Walker, MD is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our patient-centered medical practice in Grand Blanc. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment focused on quality care and positive patient experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Room patients and record medical histories and vital signs
• Assist the physician with exams, procedures, and patient care
• Prepare and maintain examination areas and instruments
• Administer injections and perform basic lab tests
• Manage scheduling, follow-up appointments, and documentation in EHR
• Provide clear communication and compassionate service to patients

Requirements:

• Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
• Professional, dependable, and patient-focused attitude
• Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting is a plus
