Associate Professor

The Division of Urology within the Department of Surgery at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS) seeks a board-certified or board-eligible General Urologist for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor within Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS). Academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and academic accomplishments. The successful candidate will join a growing academic urology practice within Rutgers Health and will provide comprehensive urologic care to a diverse patient population. Responsibilities include outpatient and inpatient clinical care, participation in surgical services, resident and medical student education, and engagement in scholarly activities consistent with an academic appointment. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to develop a robust clinical practice within a leading academic health system while contributing to the Department's missions of patient care, education, research, and community service.

Minimum Education and Experience - MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree. Completion of an ACGME-accredited Urology Residency Program. Board certification or board eligibility in Urology. Eligibility for appointment to the faculty of Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of New Jersey. Demonstrated commitment to excellence in clinical care and medical education.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology. Eligible for unrestricted New Jersey medical licensure. DEA registration and CDS license, or eligibility to obtain upon hire. Hospital credentialing and privileging eligibility

Preferred Qualifications - Demonstrated interest in teaching and mentoring trainees. Experience with minimally invasive and open surgical techniques, office-based procedures. Record of scholarly activity appropriate for appointment at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level. Interest in clinical program development, quality improvement, or clinical research. Commitment to fostering an inclusive academic environment and serving diverse patient populations.
