Primary Homeroom Teacher

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver lessons in all core subjects (ELA, Social Studies, Science, Mathematics, and Health) and Visual Arts to your homeroom students, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Establish and maintain effective classroom management strategies to create a conducive learning environment.
Use English as the exclusive language of instruction, implement differentiated teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
Maintain regular and effective communication with parents regarding student progress, activities, and school events. Foster strong partnerships with parents to support the holistic development of each student.
Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavior.
Integrate technology to enhance instructional delivery and learning experience.
Order supplies, assess maintenance needs, and assist in room assignments.
Collaborate with other teachers to ensure a cohesive and integrated curriculum.
Actively participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices.
Attend staff meetings as required.
Contribute to the organization and participation in school events, field trips, and other related activities.
Contribute expertise and passion to After School Activities (ASAs), actively participating in planning and facilitating engaging extracurricular programs for student enrichment and holistic development.
