Superintendent

KBS is seeking Commercial Construction Superintendents to manage onsite operations for commercial and multifamily construction projects ranging from $10M to $90M. The Superintendent is responsible for executing projects safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project schedules, budgets, and quality standards while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project partners. Key Responsibilities Manage all onsite construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget and in accordance with contract documents Coordinate the daily activities of subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and vendors to maintain efficient project progress Monitor project schedules, identify potential delays, and implement solutions to maintain project milestones Conduct regular quality inspections to confirm compliance with project documents and high workmanship standards Enforce strict safety policies and OSHA requirements to maintain a safe jobsite Review drawings and specifications, communicating changes or clarifications to the field team Partner closely with the Project Manager on progress, costs, and risk management Maintain strong relationships with clients through consistent, professional communication Track progress, update schedules, and identify potential delays or issues What You Bring Several years of commercial construction experience with a proven record of successfully managing commercial construction projects Experience managing projects up to $30M Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, techniques, and building codes Expertise in project planning, look-ahead scheduling, and budget awareness Strong problem-solving and decision‑making abilities with keen attention to detail Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and other technical documents OSHA certification and a commitment to maintaining a safe jobsite at all times KBS offers competitive compensation, annual discretionary bonuses, comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, PTO and holidays, a generous 401(k) company match, disability and life insurance—and a supportive, experienced team committed to your growth.
