Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med-Surg Ortho, Client Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current WI License Certifications: NIHSS, CPR/BLS Must-Have: - Experienced nurses - Education verification required - Nurses may be required to float to other units - Every other weekend and holiday availability required Description: We are seeking experienced nurses. The candidates must have a current WI license, NIHSS, and CPR/BLS certification. Education verification is required. Nurses may be required to float to other units. This position will require every other weekend and holiday availability. Shifts will be 12 hours, from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients. Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and state laws/practice acts. Documents according to standards of care. Develops, initiates, and executes a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by the physician and/or hospital policy, including patient and family instruction. Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance. Utilizes clinical expertise to guide other units/departments in support of the patient’s longitudinal plan of care. Utilizes critical thinking in regards to patient safety and patient experience, and appropriately escalates to the appropriate chain of command.
