Clinic Receptionist

Overview

We are seeking a Receptionist , also referred to as a Clinic Receptionist or Hospital Receptionist. The Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and helps create a welcoming, organized, and professional clinic experience. This position supports daily front office operations by answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, collecting payments, and ensuring required paperwork is completed.


Shifts Available: Days


Employment Type: Full Time


Hours: 8-hour shift

Location: Riverview Regional Medical Center/Gadsden Physician Management - Gadsden, AL

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner

• Answer incoming calls and direct patients, providers, and staff appropriately

• Schedule and reschedule patient appointments following provider protocols

• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and other payments according to company policy

• Assist with paperwork, front office tasks, and other duties or special projects as assigned

Qualifications

Education and Training

Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current

Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus:

• Previous medical office receptionist experience
