Sales Consultant

Responsibilities Drive equipment in a professional and safe manner Deliver products as invoiced to specified licensed retailer Builds strong relationships with customers and delivery personnel Addresses customer needs in a timely manner Includes merchandising, delivering product, and putting up deliveries at accounts Check-in invoiced orders with customers in a friendly, courteous manner Increase consumer awareness of brands through proactive shelf management practices to include presentations for additional space, location, flow, and organization of products Manage quality of all Company products to ensure that only fresh and damage free product is available for sale and consumption. Collect and return all payments as required Account for all invoices as merchandise delivered and merchandise returned Complete appropriate paperwork throughout the delivery process in a timely fashion Ensure vehicle check‑in procedures are followed daily Ensure vehicle service and safety issues are reported daily Attend monthly safety meeting Attend required safety courses and other classes as needed Report any local, state, or federal moving violations to management Perform other job‑related duties as assigned Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalency plus 2 years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience Must be 18 years of age Valid State Driver’s License Preferred Qualifications Ability to navigate the assigned driving area in an efficient manner Customer service oriented, friendly, helpful, and have a professional disposition Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists Knowledge of marketplace experience, developments and trends related to the industry; ability to use this information in support of organizational goals Physical Demands Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping Will require lifting, lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 45 lbs.
