About the Role This role sits at the intersection of:

• Customer Data Platforms (CDP / Data Cloud)
• Marketing Automation & Journey Orchestration
• Real-time data activation and API-driven systems

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building scalable data pipelines, modeling customer data, and enabling downstream activation in platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

You will work closely with product, data engineering, and marketing technology teams to enable end-to-end data flows from ingestion → transformation → segmentation → activation.

What You'll Do

• Data Pipeline & Integration Development
• Build and maintain data pipelines feeding Data360 (batch and real-time)
• Develop integrations between:
• Source systems (PMS, web, app, transactional systems)
• Data platforms (GCP / data lake)
• Activation platforms (SFMC, APIs)
• Support ingestion, transformation, and orchestration logic
• Customer Data Modeling (Data360)
• Implement customer data models, identity resolution rules, and profile structures
• Configure calculated insights / derived datasets
• Segmentation logic and audience definitions
• Ensure data is marketing-ready and performant
• Activation Enablement
• Build and maintain pipelines enabling Data360 → SFMC activation
• Support audience syncing, journey triggers, and event-based activation
• Ensure data consistency across activation endpoints
• Data Validation & Quality
• Develop SQL queries and validation logic to ensure data accuracy
• Partner with QA to support test case execution and defect resolution
• Troubleshoot data discrepancies across systems
• Cross-Functional Delivery
• Work closely with Product Owners to translate requirements into technical builds
• Collaborate with:
• Data engineering teams
• Marketing operations
• Integration/API teams

What You Bring Required Skills

• 3–6+ years in data engineering or CDP development
• Experience with:
• Customer Data Platforms (Salesforce Data Cloud / Data360 or similar)
• SQL and data transformation workflows
• APIs and system integrations
• Large volume Enterprise Data applications
• Strong understanding of:
• Data modeling & identity resolution
• Batch vs real-time data processing
• Segmentation and Activation
• Experience with cloud data platforms (GCP preferred)
• Salesforce Data 360 Consultant Certification or equivalent level of demonstrated experience and competence
