Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Emergency Department team. Our facility is recognized for its high clinical quality and commitment to patient safety. As a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, our Emergency Department handles a significant volume of patients, providing an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Assist in triage and prioritize patient needs effectively.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Cerner.
• Provide guidance and feedback to nursing staff and support roles.
• Engage in real-time coaching and patient experience initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including 1 year in an emergency department setting.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required prior to start date.
• Experience in a Level II trauma center or comprehensive stroke center preferred.
• Flexibility to work in various areas within the Emergency Department.
