Position Summary Position Summary... What You'll Do Provides member service. Maintains the checkout area. Resolves member issues and concerns. Promotes Sam's Club products and services. Provides guidance and support to members regarding self‑service technology. Processes member purchases and assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies and procedures. Follows company safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps. Follows proper procedures for handling merchandise and reports unsafe situations to facility management. Maintains entrance and exit areas, acknowledges members, verifies membership cards, and identifies member needs. Assists members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and transporting items. Maintains a safe shopping environment. Reviews member receipts and maintains required documentation. Executes emergency response procedures and ensures compliance with company security and safety practices. Assists with the training of Member Frontline Services associates on company processes and procedures. Teaches new technology and tool functionality and delivers new program rollout training. Provides continuous learning and process improvement opportunities. Maintains area of responsibility in accordance with company policies and procedures by properly handling returns, zoning, and identifying shrink and damages. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners. Works as a team, builds strong and trusting relationships, and communicates with impact, energy, and positivity. Strengthens the team by helping, developing, and mentoring others. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
