Mon Health Medical Center is seeking a Chief Anesthesiologist to join their team in delivering personalized, compassionate care. Established in 1943, this 155-bed flagship hospital serves North Central West Virginia, southwestern Pennsylvania, and surrounding communities with comprehensive medical services. Practice Info 155-bed hospital serves North Central West Virginia, southwestern Pennsylvania, and surrounding communities Offers comprehensive services, including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, general surgery, orthopedics, oncology, and women’s health Features a state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center offering same-day procedures, including total joint replacements Partners with a 34-bed long-term acute care hospital to support patients with complex medical needs Cases: Endo, General, Orthopedics, Urology - Cysto, Urology, OB, Heavy GYN, Vascular, Plastics, ENT, Neuro, GI Responsibilities Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtain and/or verify patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed Compensation Salary: $500K Chief Stipend Sign-on Incentives: $100K Benefits Health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D insurance Generous paid time off Flexible Spending Accounts/Health Savings Accounts 401(k) & Profit Sharing Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage Loan repayment & training assistance available Shift & Schedule 2 weeks on and 1 week off Qualifications M.D./D.O.
