About This Role The Registered Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population to achieve desired outcomes. Highlights Location: Brick, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Per Diem, Nights What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation Perform age and disease-specific assessment/data collection independently Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team Implement age and disease-specific care in an organized manner Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes Requirements Education BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire Experience 1+ years of nursing experience Licenses & Certifications Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license required BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required About Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack Meridian Health is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
