Greeter (Main Lobby Area) MSH Sinai Signature Services FT Evenings EOW
As an integral part of the team the Greeter is responsible for the facilitation of visitor management and maintenance of entrance areas. These include maintaining a welcoming arrival experience and guiding patients and visitors to their destinations.
Responsibilities patients and visitors upon arrival at the hospital entrance providing a welcoming first impression.
the standard check-in procedure for patients and visitors.
in wayfinding and provides patients and visitors with maps.
patients and visitors to the necessary areas as needed.
telephone promptly and courteously. Transfers to other departments as needed.
communication with unit staff and notifies staff at destination when patients arrive.
and upholds visitor policy.
safety protocols (e.g. visitor badges mask policies if required).
information and answers questions regarding hospital amenities and guest services.
issues to Manager and/or Supervisor.
and maintains inventory of required supplies for the area.
maintenance of lobby appearance and individual work areas.
in environmental management.
a customer service environment for the area.
and works closely with security team and medical floors.
appointment locations and dates for patients in EPIC. Confirms patients location for visitors.
other duties as assigned.
- Work requires a high school level of knowledge (graduate or equivalent) in order to prepare reports and keep records.
- Six months of healthcare related experience in order to become familiar with institutional policies and procedures preferred.
Compensation Statement
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $20.36 - $21.99 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors including experience education and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
