Quality Assurance Specialist

There is some flexibility in pay rate for the right candidate who meets all requirements. We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist for a manufacturing company in Acton, MA. This position offers the opportunity to support all aspects of quality and continuous improvement in a hands-on manufacturing environment. This is a Direct Hire position. Responsibilities Coordinate quality inspection activities for mechanical and electro-mechanical products and components. Manage inbound and outbound RMAs, working with both suppliers and customers to address quality issues. Investigate non-conformances and support corrective actions and root cause analysis. Work with suppliers to resolve incoming material and component quality issues. Coordinate and maintain equipment calibration schedules, records, and documentation. Review drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements using GD&T Maintain quality documentation, procedures, records, and other quality-related information. Collect and organize quality data and create reports, charts, and metrics using Excel. Assist with ongoing development and maintenance of the company's Quality Management System. Support continuous improvement initiatives and day-to-day quality needs across the organization. Collaborate with Operations and other departments to resolve product and process quality issues.
