Quality Assurance Specialist - Mechanical & Electromechanical Manufacturing

Our client is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to support quality inspection, continuous improvement, and product reliability within a hands‑on manufacturing environment. This role focuses on mechanical and electro‑mechanical products and requires strong GD&T interpretation, RMA handling, and quality documentation skills. Onsite | No Visa Sponsorship | No Relocation Assistance Responsibilities: Quality Documentation — Maintain procedures, records, and quality‑related documentation. Data & Reporting — Collect quality data and create reports, charts, and metrics using Excel. QMS Support — Assist with development and maintenance of the Quality Management System. Calibration Program — Maintain equipment calibration schedules, records, and documentation. GD&T Interpretation — Review drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements using GD&T principles. Supplier Quality — Work with suppliers to resolve incoming material issues and ensure conformance to specifications. Quality Inspections — Perform mechanical and electro‑mechanical inspections on components and finished assemblies. Cross‑Functional Collaboration — Partner with Operations and other departments to resolve product and process issues. RMA Management — Coordinate inbound and outbound RMAs, working with suppliers and customers to resolve quality issues. Nonconformance & Corrective Actions — Investigate nonconformances, support root‑cause analysis, and assist in corrective action implementation. Qualifications (Must-Haves) All education levels will beconsidered. Proficiency in Excel for data gathering, charting, and reporting. Strong working knowledge of GD&T and ability to interpret mechanical drawings. Experience with RMAs, nonconformance investigations, and corrective actions. Hands‑on experience with mechanical inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) 3–5 years of experience in a QA or Quality Engineering role within a mechanical or electro‑mechanical manufacturing environment. Nice‑to‑Haves: Familiarity with ISO‑based QMS environments. Exposure to supplier quality or customer‑facing quality support. Experience with small‑scale assembly or precision mechanical products.
