Senior Construction Inspector

Overview What You Will Do GFT is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector to join our Construction Services team in the New Carrollton area . We oversee every construction phase to help ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. Responsibilities What You’ll Be Challenged To Do Inspect all phases of highway construction and maintenance projects. Oversee, monitor, and independently inspect routine railroad, Amtrak, and/or WMATA updates. Measure, test, and check materials, methods, and installations to ensure contractor conformance with plans, specifications, and contract documents. Document contractor progress daily, input data into automated software systems, and generate reports and correspondence. What You Will Bring / Qualifications Education | Experience 10-15 years of construction experience High school graduate or GED Valid driver’s license What We Prefer You Bring Amtrak and/or WMATA station update inspection experience is a plus Compensation The salary range for this role is $115,000 - $140,000 . Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
