Senior Advanced Technical Product Owner

As a Senior IT Engineer at Honeywell, you will lead and mentor a team of IT technical product owners, shaping the strategic direction and effective execution of our technology projects. Collaborating closely with senior executives and cross-functional teams, you will align IT project strategies with business objectives and deliver projects that meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations. In this role, you will impact the successful execution of technology initiatives by leading a team, shaping strategic direction, and empowering your team to excel. Your leadership will foster professional growth and development while overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects that help us achieve our long-term goals. Responsibilities Participate and lead solution design sessions as appropriate Identify the flexibility, speed of implementation, quality, scalability, supportability, and cost of ownership of the solutions being implemented Become familiar with the entire BA Digital Ecosystems and Data to help leverage and extend that landscape to meet business and technical objectives Keep current on technology trends both in the industry and with the applications deployed in the landscape, including researching and implementing new and/or alternate technologies that further business goals and provide competitive advantages Create detailed business process maps to document the architecture decisions; communicate specifications to technical architects, developers, contractors, and business sponsors in a directly actionable, clear and unambiguous manner Collaborate with Enterprise Architect Team to review solution design, any new implementation or introduction of new technology to ensure compliance with standards Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field Minimum 5 years of overall IT experience Minimum 3 years of technical and functional experience in integrating SAP ERP, SFDC and CPQ Experience in leading technical solutions related to content management and digital asset management systems along with global rollouts across various geographical regions and languages Experience in working within an Agile/SCRUM development model WE VALUE Strong presentation communication (written and verbal) skills, and interpersonal skills Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks within a collaborative team environment Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done Relevant industry certifications such as PMP, ScrumMaster, or similar Demonstrated success in driving digital transformation and strategic IT initiatives Strong project portfolio management skills A passion for staying current with emerging industry trends and best practices Benefits of Working for Honeywell In addition to a performance-driven salary, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that includes employer-subsidized Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance; Short-Term and Long-Term Disability; 401(k) match; Flexible Spending Accounts; Health Savings Accounts; EAP; and Educational Assistance.
