We are seeking a qualified CBRS Specialist in the Canyon County are who is dedicated to providing support for adults with developmental disabilities across the Treasure Valley. As a CBRS,  you are responsible for assisting clients in developing greater independence and facilitating their successful integration into the community. An excellent candidate is someone who likes traveling throughout the Treasure Valley, thrives when working on their own, and demonstrates outstanding communication and people skills.

Responsibilities 

• Completing functional assessments in accordance with agency policy.
• Completing daily client notes and accurate documentation.
• Support clients in various settings with daily living skills, transportation, budgeting, and personal care.
• Facilitate community participation and resource access.
• Teach problem-solving, decision-making, and self-advocacy skills.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Attend regular meetings, supervision, and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a human services field REQUIRED
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to transport clients in your own vehicle.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Positive, compassionate attitude helpful
