Billing Specialist

Overview CORT is hiring a full-time Billing Specialist/Clerk to invoice all client billing for tradeshows daily in PeopleSoft, including the performance of order audits and account maintenance. The position is also responsible for tracking and matching Purchase Orders to invoices for closed orders. This position will require daily interaction with Accounts Receivable, other billing specialists, the Accounts Receivable Manager as well as external client source contacts. Work Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM. This position will initially be onsite, reporting to the CORT office in West Chester daily. After 6 months, the role can transition to a hybrid work schedule, allowing the employee to work from home for a portion of the week, and from the office for the remainder of the week. Maintain client log of preferred specifications and reporting for invoice distribution. Serve as one point contact for designated clients. Prior to month end, bill ad-hoc services in PeopleSoft based on service complete status or miscellaneous actions. Perform system-wide fee audits for unbilled services. Serve as backup for larger contractor billing. Verify price lists, tax, and district location necessary per contractor per invoice. Research future shows to determine dates and locations. Upload final invoices through the contractor’s portal for payment. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Accounting experience that provides a basic understanding of the accounts receivable process Excel skills to include VLOOKUP Basic math and analytical skills Requires knowledge of credit and collections, invoicing, accounts receivable, and customer service principles, practices, and regulations Prior billing/invoicing experience strongly preferredMust pass background checks as a condition of employment.
