Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Graphic Designer role at Olyra is a full-time hybrid position based in Athens, with the flexibility to work from home part of the time. This role is responsible for creating visual assets that reflect Olyra’s brand identity, including packaging designs, digital graphics for web and social media, and marketing and sales collateral.

The Graphic Designer will collaborate closely with marketing, sales, product, and external partners to ensure consistent, high-quality design execution across all touchpoints. The role also involves preparing files for print and digital production, following brand guidelines, and contributing creative ideas to campaigns and new product launches.

Areas of Responsibilities

Digital and Print Collateral:
-> Create engaging digital assets for online platforms, including Social Media (Meta, Pinterest, TikTok), Paid Ads, Ecom Product Listings, Email Campaigns, and other advertising channels we may explore
-> Develop print materials such as brochures, flyers, sell sheets, postcards and banners for promotional events, trade shows and sampling
Support ad hoc requests that may come up (e.g., merch)

Brand Identity:
-> Maintain and evolve a strong visual brand identity that aligns with the company's values, goals, and established brand guidelines

Packaging Design:
-> Ensure packaging complies with industry standards, regulations, and communicates key product information effectively
-> Make changes to the nutrition panels and ingredients when Production Team requests it
Support in the design of eye-catching and functional packaging for our diverse range of food products

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Project Management:
-> Work closely with marketing, product development, and sales teams to understand project requirements, objectives, and deadlines
-> Collaborate with external vendors, printers, and agencies to ensure the successful execution of design projects
-> Maintain an organized project board to prioritize work and deliver to deadlines as needed

Market Research:
-> Stay abreast of design trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to continuously improve and innovate our visual communications

Bonus / Nice-to-Have:
-> Photo Editing / Photoshop – Edit and enhance photos to maintain a consistent and appealing visual style
-> Illustration – create new illustrations that are in line with the existing catalog of illustrative assets for the brand, for use in various touchpoints, such as packaging or graphics

Candidate Qualifications:
-> Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred
Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably within the food industry or any B2C company
-> Proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Canva (or similar tools)
-> Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects, including packaging, branding, and digital media
-> Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and brand consistency
-> Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
-> Knowledge of color theory
-> Knowledge on printing methods & technologies
-> Excellent communication and collaboration skills
-> Fluent English speaker
