Account Executive

Job Summary Astound is seeking an Outside Sales professional to market and sell Business Services—including Fiber Internet, Voice, Hosted Voice, and related products—to enterprise customers across assigned geographic areas. Responsibilities Identify and engage enterprise prospects with advanced network and IT requirements. Collect and communicate accurate order information to support personnel within 48 hours. Complete all sales transactions and ensure scheduled installations are aligned with engineering and construction schedules. Prepare and submit all paperwork and agreements accurately, legibly, and thoroughly. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Astound Broadband products, programming, and promotional offers. Provide exceptional customer service at all times. Submit sales claims for unpaid completed sales within the allotted time frame. Project a professional business manner and uphold integrity in all dealings. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience 2–4 years of prior experience managing business accounts in sales or customer service. 1–2 years of practical experience canvassing or cold‑calling small and medium‑sized business customers. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. Excellent detail orientation and follow‑through skills. Discretion in handling confidential information. High school diploma or equivalent. Physical Demands & Work Environment Frequent driving, walking, bending, and reaching; occasional exposure to inclement weather, uneven surfaces, hills, stairs, and heights; daily use of standard office equipment; local travel; ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds; flexible schedule between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m., all seven days a week. Compensation Base Salary: $60,000 annually (California only). Targeted commissions at full attainment: $21,600. Potential for additional bonus, benefits, and commission based on performance. Benefits 401(k) retirement plan with employer match. Medical, dental, vision, life and STD insurance. Paid Time Off: starting at 80 hours per year, increasing with tenure. Floating Holiday: 40 hours per year. Paid Holidays: 7 days per year. Paid Sick Leave: state and local law compliant. Tuition reimbursement program. Employee discount program.
