Rheumatologist Opening in Rock Island, IL Located in the Quad Cities Details:

• Full-time, permanent position
• Offering a 4.5-day work week with minimal call
• Located on the Mississippi River, the Quad Cities region (pop. ~500,000) offers many vibrant, affordable, and convenient communities with multiple dining and entertainment venues as well as residential communities, including Bettendorf, Iowa, which boasts the State of Iowas #1 public-school district.
• Well established, patient-centered Rheumatology practice; part of a Multispecialty team that is growing
• Dedicated mid-level Provider support with two APPs in the practice
• Opportunity to conduct research
• Loyal Primary Care referral base
Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and treat rheumatological conditions and diseases
• Clinic schedule 20-25 patients per day
• Occasional Inpatient consult service
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination
Qualifications:
• MD or DO
• Fellowship trained and BC/BE in Rheumatology
• Hold an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Illinois and Iowa
• Eligible to work in the United States (H-1 Visa cap-exempt and Perm Processing support available)
• Willingness to work as a team member
