Senior Manager or Associate Director, Translational Medicine Operations

Kymera Therapeutics seeks a Senior Manager or Associate Director to lead translational medicine operations for clinical studies, managing biospecimen handling, laboratory vendor relationships, and cross-functional coordination from study initiation through closeout.

Responsibilities

Lead translational medicine operations overseeing biospecimen management from study startup through closeout
Develop and execute biospecimen operational strategies including collection, processing, shipment, and archival
Manage central laboratory and vendor relationships including contracts, assay support, and performance monitoring
Partner cross-functionally with translational medicine, clinical operations, and external vendors on biomarker activities
Monitor biospecimen quality and data integrity through deviation management and root cause analysis

Requirements

7–10+ years experience in translational medicine operations or biomarker management in biotech/pharma
Bachelor's degree in life sciences, biology, biomedical sciences, or clinical laboratory science
Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end biospecimen operations for Phase I–III clinical trials
Proven ability to manage central laboratory vendors and contract oversight
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with clinical, biomarker, and regulatory teams
Experience ensuring protocol compliance, regulatory adherence, and data integrity
