Materials Handler (Utility)

Distribution Team Member

This position is in the Distribution area of the Materials Management Team. You will be working to stock material, kit material, and pick material for Fulfillment operations to the customer.

• Read, comprehend, and adhere to written work instructions, SOP's, etc.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records with integrity
• Participate in and contribute to continuous improvement projects and initiatives
• Accomplish other duties as required to include cross training
• Responsible for pulling the correct material for each order and accurately consuming the material in the system
• Responsible for inventory accuracy
• Assist in the development of procedural improvements designed to increase efficiency, costs, safety, and morale
• Understand the Picking process including paperwork and RF Scanners & Printers
• Follow FIFO (First In/First Out) process
• Replenish items to maintain inventory
• Verify printed patient copy contains all required information
• Troubleshoot pick tickets
• Ability to read and understand a MQR card
• Cycle Counts in assigned area
• Review the custom order form including any change orders
• Educate operators on how to properly understand and execute WI's and deviations to meet product quality, productivity, and compliance goals.
• Suggest edits to WI's as appropriate to keep documents correct, accurate, and create best practices.
• Support engineering, R&D initiatives, and new product introduction (NPI).
• Support their respective area with process audits, structured follow-up, and continuous training to ensure operator understanding/compliance.
