*Job Description & Requirements* Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant(NP) StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 10 Pay Rate: $97.00 - $105.00 This facility is seeking a Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse Practitioner (Cardiac Rehab Coordinator) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need. Details and requirements for this opportunity: * Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; 1-hour break; last patient scheduled at 4:30 PM; 18-week assignment beginning August 3, 2026 * Practice Setting: Outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation Clinic; offsite cardiac rehab clinic located in a medical office building across from the hospital; no inpatient care, bedside care, cath lab, or procedural responsibilities * Type of cases and required procedures: Cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation patients; patient assessments, history and physicals, care coordination, exercise and treatment plan development, telemetry monitoring, patient education, and rehabilitation oversight; no surgical procedures * Credentialing timeframe: Not specified * Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Scottcare Versacare Software * Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) * Licensure required: Active Texas Registered Nurse license; Texas Board of Nurse Examiners recognition as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner; Nurse Practitioner certification required *Facility Location* Just five miles from the Mexico border, this fast growing Texas city offers travelers a unique opportunity to experience a myriad of cultures throughout everyday life.
