Director, Strategic Accounts

Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of Associate Directors and Account Managers, providing direction, feedback, and support. Strategically manage an assigned book of business to achieve partnership objectives, including relationship development, growth, retention, and customer success. Manage risks and develop opportunities for current clients. Build productive, trusted relationships with key executives (including C‑level) and stakeholders. Use data‑driven resources to run efficient meetings and work sessions with clients and subject‑matter experts. Articulate Evolent’s products and services and present value propositions at a high level. Develop best‑in‑class presentation strategies, narratives, and content for external meetings with senior stakeholders. Lead regular partnership review meetings, including strategic account planning, relationship mapping, market analysis, and issue management. Advocate for partner culture and serve as an ambassador within Evolent. Manage all aspects of contracts with assigned clients, ensuring performance and risk management, including SLA performance, rate/savings maximization, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Maintain high‑speed internet connectivity (≥10Mbps) and, for call‑center employees, direct connection to the home internet router. Preferred Experience & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Minimum 5years in client or account management leadership roles. Minimum 5years of broad‑based health‑plan experience. Demonstrated ability to find creative solutions in a dynamic environment. Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills at all organizational levels, including C‑level. Exceptional emotional intelligence and the ability to connect with diverse constituents. Travel up to 40% within the United States and territories. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong analytical and data‑driven decision‑making skills. Compensation Base salary range: $120,000‑$130,000. Total compensation includes comprehensive benefits (including health insurance) in addition to the base salary.
