.Interior HorticulturistDo you love plants?The Tropical Plant Technician is responsible for maintaining interiorscape accounts assigned to their care. On a structured schedule and within an allotted time frame, the technician maintains interior foliage plants by using accepted horticultural techniques.Key Responsibilities:Water and fertilize plants as needed to maintain optimal growth.Keep all plants clean, pruned, and remove any damaged or unsightly foliage.Maintain accurate records of plant health and treatments.Perform regular inspections to identify and address pest, disease, or nutritional deficiencies in plants.Collaborate with a horticulture team to execute plant care schedules and protocols.Provide advice and support to clients regarding the care and maintenance of tropical plants.Horticultural Service Technicians must have a reliable personal vehicle available for each workday for transportation to the accounts. Get to know us better at Education:High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or coursework in horticulture, botany, or a related field is preferred.Required Experience:Proven track record of maintaining plant health and managing plant care schedules.Experience in identifying and treating common plant diseases and pests.Required Skills and Abilities:Strong knowledge of tropical plant species, their care requirements, and environmental needs.Ability to operate and maintain greenhouse equipment and tools safely and effectively.Excellent observational skills to monitor plant health and growth.Strong problem-solving abilities to address plant health issues and optimize growth conditions.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and supervisors.Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. #J-18808-Ljbffr
