Psychiatric Registered Nurse | Derry, New Hampshire

Step into a key leadership role supporting behavioral health and psychiatric services as an Off-Shift House Nurse Supervisor. This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to oversee night operations, providing essential supervision and direction for nursing staff and patient care.

Schedule/Hours:

• 10:45pm7:15am shift
• Five 8-hour shifts per week (40 hours/week)
• Every other weekend required (Friday and Saturday, 11pm7am)

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Previous experience in psychiatric/behavioral health nursing required
• Demonstrated ability in team supervision or in a leadership capacity preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, crisis intervention, and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Function as the primary nursing leader during overnight shifts, providing guidance to staff in psychiatric units
• Ensure continuity of quality care by overseeing nursing practices and responding to emergent clinical or administrative issues
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, reporting incidents or patient concerns appropriately
• Serve as a resource and point of escalation for staff, patients, and families during off-hours
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a therapeutic and safe environment
• Uphold facility protocols, enforce policies, and participate in handoffs to day shift leaders
