Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, developing individualized treatment programs that address specific orthopedic needs.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities, to promote recovery and pain relief.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with patients, caregivers, and the referring medical community to ensure a unified approach to patient care.
• Demonstrate high levels of customer service by creating a welcoming environment for patients and responding to their concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Monitor patient progress continuously and adjust treatment plans as required to optimize healing and achieve desired outcomes.
• Engage in community outreach activities to promote the clinic’s services and educate the public about orthopedic rehabilitation methods.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work primarily with orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries such as joint replacements, ligament repairs, and fracture management. Additionally, our patient clientele includes sports medicine cases, individuals with musculoskeletal injuries, pediatric patients needing rehabilitative therapy, and those with neurological impairments. This diverse caseload presents opportunities to apply specialized knowledge and skills across various demographics and conditions.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, coupled with a valid State License to practice Physical Therapy.
• Strong foundational knowledge in orthopedic evaluation and treatment methodologies.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact positively with patients and the healthcare team.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, ensuring accurate documentation and seamless patient management.

Preferred Experience

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is highly preferred.
• A minimum of two years’ hands-on experience as a physical therapist in an orthopedic rehabilitation setting.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proven track record of establishing strong patient relationships, fostering trust, and motivating clients to achieve therapeutic milestones.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD $100,000 to $120,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
