About the Position

Job Title: Cardiac Cath Tech Profession: Allied Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization Technology Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Cardiac Catheterization Lab License: Required certification in Cardiac Catheterization Technology Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R or RCIS Must-Have: - Peripheral angiogram/run-off experience - Willingness to be trained in endografts, EVARs, TEVARs if no prior experience Description: We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Tech for our Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. The facility is a teaching hospital with a Level I Trauma designation and a Magnet designation. The Unit includes 4 cardiac rooms and 3 vascular rooms. The patient population includes a variety of cardiac and vascular cases, including NON-STEMI, STEMI, TAVR, Watchman, Mitral Clip, lower extremity angiograms, EVAR, and TEVAR cases. No first-time travelers will be accepted. Shift hours are from 0730 to 1800, with four 10-hour shifts per week. Weekend rotation and on-call responsibilities will be discussed during the interview. Travelers will have to cover each other's time off. Travelers are expected to work at least one holiday during the contract period. Scrub color will be green and provided. The unit culture is described as positive and supportive.
