Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Job Type & Hours

• Full-time and Part-time available
• 24–44 hours per week
• Overtime opportunities available

Compensation

• $15.50 – $17.00/hour for awake shifts
• $14.00/hour for on-site, on-call (sleep) shifts
• +$1.50/hour premium for complex client assignments
• Holidays and overtime paid at 1.5x base rate

Higher pay rates are earned based on experience, performance, and client complexity.

Schedule

• 1st (7am-3pm) shifts available.
• 2nd (3pm-11pm) shifts available.
• 3rd (11pm-7am) shifts available.
• All DSPs are required to work at least one weekend shift
• Recurring, predictable schedules
• Time off available with advanced notice

• Execute individualized care plans with consistency and precision
• Support personal care, mobility, and structured routines
• Provide behavioral support with emotional control and awareness
• Facilitate community engagement and skill-building
• Transport clients safely and reliably
• Document services clearly, accurately, and on time
• Maintain a safe, structured, and respectful environment

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable, insured personal vehicle (proof required)
• High school diploma or GED (proof required)
• Ability to pass fingerprinted background checks
• Willingness to travel locally
