Job Description Role: Programmatic Trader MiQ has been a part of the programmatic landscape since the beginning and that programmatic expertise is the backbone of MiQ’s success. Our trading team is the engine that drives that expertise. We’re looking for a trader to join our growing trading team in one of our fastest‑growing global regions. You’ll work collaboratively with sales, account management, product and analytics on some of the world’s most well‑known brands. What You’ll Be Doing Accomplish tasks on time and to a high quality while managing different deadlines and priorities. Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring all perform and pace optimally. Set up campaigns to succeed from day one. Use critical thinking and analytical skills to analyze complex data sets and make decisions to beat client goals. Troubleshoot campaign challenges. Implement campaign optimizations within DSPs. Work across multiple technology platforms, including DSPs, internal BI, ad servers, attribution and brand safety. Provide client reporting and optimization commentary. Deliver incremental forecasting. Stay focused and contribute to projects. Organize stakeholders and multiple milestones. Provide avails, pricing and strategy recommendations for new campaigns. Partner with other members of the trading team to enhance internal tools and processes. Test new trading products to drive future enhancements. Build relationships with sales and account management on your commercial pod, and with other commercial teams to deliver custom client solutions. Communicate crisply and clearly with external partners, clients and internal stakeholders, flexing style to persuade and influence positive outcomes. Explain strategy and optimizations to internal and external partners. Articulate to clients how MiQ’s trading technology and expertise set us apart. Participate in client meetings around performance and strategy. Work directly from client offices periodically (2–3 days per week). Act with curiosity, finding new and better ways of working, and applying or implementing solutions to unarticulated needs. Be open to receiving and trying new ideas, processes or ways of working. Use MiQ’s proprietary technology to create bespoke campaign setups and custom algorithms. Qualifications Hard skills Analytical skills are essential. Experience with large datasets in Excel and BI tools. Experience with Xandr, DV360 or TTD DSPs preferred. 2+ years of experience running programmatic campaigns preferred. Experience with holding companies or agency trading desks preferred. Soft skills Start‑up mind‑set. Attention to detail. Accomplished communicator.
